Paul grew up listening to pop music and has never fully
recovered from its somewhat misleading worldview. His life
now revolves around writing major to minor chord changes
and hiding disturbed and defective characters inside. People
say he can sing real purty, too.
Tayo was raised on country blues, but soon discovered John
Cage and Brian Eno. He takes pop music apart, but he can't
always remember how to get it back together. Tayo employs
the latest computer technologies alongside vintage electro-mechanical
instruments to create little sound movies with happy endings.
weaklazyliar is its anagrams: Chris Mathewson = "he
won christmas," because he got his first bass on Jesus'
birthday 15 years ago. Joe Knoll (surprisingly serious
& philosophical for a drummer) = "no joke, LL."
Gerlinda (she of the big mouth) = "Grand Lie."
And Ryan Taylor = "Royalty Ran" because
his record of WLL remixes "Come Undone" is sure
to outsell N'Sync's last release. weaklazyliar ("Liz,
Walk A Year") is in the studio working on its 3rd full-length
CD.
